I have to admit, I enjoyed Corey Haim's schmaltzy movies as a kid. Okay, it wasn't that I could related to Haim's Lucas character, but more that I had a thing for Kerri Green (Maggie) from that movie.
Still, that Lucas could make friends with her related to the outcast misfit in all of us teenagers growing up. Who knew, that being a misfit would become so hip in the years to..... [ read more ] Mar 12

Yes. PS3 now has motion controllers. It's not what you expect though and it's just different from Wii and closer to Xbox 360's version than Nintendo's.
Playstation Move will feature motion sensitive controllers through the use of PS3's camera attachment.
Yup, it's like the Eye Toy (I still have it and love it on PS2), but now you've got controllers..... [ read more ] Mar 12
Okay Nintendo, for some reason, Wii VC has just taken a total back seat in your book. I don't know why, maybe you're not making enough money or maybe you think that just dripping out one game at a time will keep us fans even more interested.
Maybe.
But I'm pissed off. You go weeks of giving me junk and then land a sweet title this week (that I'm playing for the first time), when the week..... [ read more ] Mar 12
Apparently, California is in the midst of an epidemic. That's right, The West Coast State is being mobbed by runaway shopping carts. Oh yes! These are not your garden-variety shopping carts, no sir! In fact, shopping carts out here are actually more intelligent than we currently understand.
They posses awesome physical capabilities that prevent them from being properly penned up. Like..... [ read more ] Mar 12
I know my pizza. I know what's good and what's just okay. Pizza, like everyone says, really is just pizza. Even when it's bad...it's okay and you'll still eat it. Umm...just like, well, you know, human mating rituals?
Yeah...ya' know where I'm goin'.
I take a lot of heat from our folks here about my "pickiness" as I'm quick to complain about the poor..... [ read more ] Mar 10
Wow, we looked at a bunch of stuff regarding survival gear. My biggest surprise was just how bad the food tasted. Sorry folks, but there's got to be better versions out there. The ones I tried (food bars) were too sugary and loaded with carbs. Instant energy boost, but a big energy drop-off.
The dehydrated packs were okay, but too much salt and..... [ read more ] Mar 10
If you were with us the last few weeks, then you witnessed first hand our go with "survival" food items as well as our test of other essential gear (water filters, survival kits, water pouches, knives, bags, etc). We tried dehydrated foods and plain ol' food ration bars, but after all is said and done, we all walked away feeling one thing. We're..... [ read more ]

If you write things down(and you should) then you need AwesomeNote. AwesomeNote has replaced notepad as my goto note app. I got it was because it allows creation of folders where I can organize and group my notes. It's also a multi-purpose app. AwesomeNote supports creating lists where I can check off items, like a to-do list, but it can be used as just a standard notepad.
I've used a..... [ read more ]
