It’s offical, Pepcom’s Digital Experience at CES has become one of our favorite events. We spoke with the team at Epson about their Artisan AIO’s.

Epson printers have long been a favorite of mine from the older C64 models all the way through to the 2200 photo printer series. The wide body 2200 printers had some awesome quality and fantastic print out speed for 8 1/2 by 11’s. That was years ago, but today Epson still impresses me with their line up of photo printers.

The All-in-Ones (abbreviated AIO’s by the author) offer an impressive combination of price ($149.99-$299.99), performance, and features (WiFi, touchscreen, built-in card reader, CD/DVD printing are just some of the highlights).

We got a look at the Artisan 810 with the fantastic Hi-Definition ink from Epson.

4×3 print outs come out in 10 seconds (or less), but one of the features that really stood out for me is the ability to print-out coloring book style images right from the preferred media format. So you can create your own coloring book.

Personally, I find it a unique feature to Epson and a pretty interesting application of on-board processing. The combination of these unique and standard features, really make Artisan AIO’s something worth looking into if you’re looking for at home photo printing.
