Don’t be surprised if you’ve never heard of ITECH before. They’re not a new company though, but they are just making their initial in-roads into the US market. Typically, they have focused on Asian and European markets, but they’re coming to America as of CES 2010.

I’m pretty happy to see them as they’ve got a form-factor that I personally like. It’s no secret that Tech Bucket Blog folk are little different and maybe just not with it sometimes. We like what we like and when it comes to my hands-free device, I like my wired earpiece.

For me, it’s not about bluetooth or not to bluetooth. I actually prefer pretending I’m 0-0-7 or some other government secret agent when I’ve got my wired earpiece installed. I feel outer-spacey when using the wireless bluetooth over the ear versions.

ITECH offers the perfect middle for me. It’s a wired-wireless bluetooth earpiece.

It’s a clip on product with a black and white LCD info panel. Wired earpiece from the bluetooth transmitter/receiver to your ear. There are plenty of similar solutions like this available, but the price point for ITECH is dramatically cheaper at around $29.99 for the hi-end units.

We didn’t get a chance to test the units being shown, but we’ll be sure to post a full review as when we can.
