Looks like it might be happening according to a recent report by the Financial Times. Currently, US TV shows on Apple’s iTunes Store are about $2-$3, but Apple’s been pushing behind the scenes to get it down to $1 for you. Aww…isn’t that nice of them?

In fact, it’s a good time to negotiate for Apple. DVD and traditional media sales are taking a real dive lately. Consider that at Redbox (our favorite BTW), you can get a movie for $1 a day. Order on-line and pick-up and drop-off anywhere you choose. Why would I pay $15-$20 for a movie that’s going to into a collection that I’ll need to upgrade when I got to blu-ray anyways?

Add that all up and it’s ripe ground for Apple to “negotiate”. Don’t know how Apple negotiates? Hmm…well, it depends on who you talk to, but you’ll find folks who have done business with Apple will tell you…well…let me show you in this clip. Imagine Bruce Willis is Apple…

Yeah…something like that. I’m not saying, I’ve had the experience. I’m just saying that’s how some folks would categorize it as.

Check out the full details over at Financial Times.
