If you don’t know HyperMac, they’re worth checking out. A line of hi-power portable (some luggable) external batteries (aka power supplies) for recharging everything Mac. From iPhones to MacBook Pros, HyperMac has got a battery for you.

Where most companies measure their battery power in milliamps (mAh), HyperMac measures their products in watt-hours. It’s power on a whole different scale.

The standard HyperMac battery will offer 60-watt hour performance, meaning you can fully recharge your MacBook. Working in tandem the battery on your MacBook and an external battery from HyperMac will get you close to 11 hours of uptime, that’s measured with WiFi on, according to HyperMac.

The bigger battery sizes will start pushing 30+ hours of uptime. The bonus here is that not only can you recharge your MacBook, but also iPhone, and iPod/iPod Touch as well. That’s pretty awesome.

Available in a host of fashion colors and sizes as well. There are the Nano, Micro, and Mini sizes, the HyperMac standard line offers the best example of portable/rechargeable power available on the Mac (in our opinion).

Pricing in the entire line ranges from about $70 all the way up to around $500. So, you’ll find something that fits your power needs.

Overall, I was pretty impressed and there certainly appeared to be a lot of interest on the show for these products. Worth looking into if you’re about to take an intercontinental flight and need some portable power. Keep in mind though, the larger batteries are not lightweight, so be ready for the extra heft in your carry on.
