So what happened this weekend and Monday? To explain it fully would take a lot more than a single blog post.

A few folks on our team got sick and I mean really really sick. Top and bottom…yech! Bubba survived without any issues, but he was called away on another assignment and couldn’t manage the updates.

The rest of us went to PMA’s in Anaheim and we’re just on the road back now. Where’s the updates? Well, 3 laptops made the journey, but only 1 barely survived. Shenanigans from Disneyland escalated into a rousing good time at Downtown Disney and somehow some folks ended up in a fountain of water. Unfortunately, we weren’t carrying fully ruggedized lappies.

We went to work at recovering. Two hard-drives got soaked and couldn’t be saved, while the other was dried out and saved. However, all the batteries shorted out and were toasted. We were running on plug-in power for a while and the single laptop started acting flakey, so a command decision was made to halt updates and just go at it old school pen and paper…or “Commando!” as someone called it, and post after the show.

All-in all, we decided it was safer to just have everyone just relax and focus on updates after some much needed rest and recuperation. We’ll be back tomorrow with full updates all morning and afternoon.

Sorry guys, it happens when you’re a growing blog. It was the perfect mix of over excited Disneyland giddiness combined with a nasty virus that just spread between our close knit team.

(Although, the few of us who escaped to Anaheim and didn’t stick around, were pretty happy we didn’t catch anything!)
