I know my pizza. I know what’s good and what’s just okay. Pizza, like everyone says, really is just pizza. Even when it’s bad…it’s okay and you’ll still eat it. Umm…just like, well, you know, human mating rituals?

Yeah…ya’ know where I’m goin’.

I take a lot of heat from our folks here about my “pickiness” as I’m quick to complain about the poor pizza in The Bay Area. Still, I’m quick to praise it when I find good pizza and I found it in the last place you’d expect to find it.

Bounce-A-Rama. Don’t know Bounce-A-Rama? I’m not surprised. I expect a good 90% of our readers don’t have the faintest idea of what I’m talking about. Unless, that is, you have kids know where the Great Mall of San Jose (really Milpitas) is.

It’s a play area for kids. But Bounce-A-Rama is just that, nothing but air-filled, gigantic balloons you play in. They have slides, bounce houses, obstacle courses, everything to tucker out your little one (and whichever adult is following him/her in).

To say the kids enjoy it is an absolute understatement. If you have high energy kids who like to jump and run around, well, Bounce-A-Rama is totally for you. And if you’re the kind of parent that likes having fun with your kids having fun, then this is totally something your inner-child would love doing with your real child.

Really. Kids and adults alike have fun here. Mind the sign though, it clearly says “Bounce Before You Eat”, not after. Otherwise, well…you know…things come up?

Enough background info. It’s here that I’ve found some really freakin’ amazing pizza. Perfect mix of crispy, chewy dough, grease, cheese, and tastey (meaning salty) toppings. It’s probably the best pizza that I’ve had since coming out to the West, including BJ’s and Costco’s $10 pizza.

It’s a steal of a deal too. They’re running a promo where if you buy one pizza, you can get another (and another, and another) for just .99 cents each!

That’s not a bad deal made even better by the fact that the pizza is totally worth it.

Seriously, if you’re a parent, then you know what I’m talking about. You need a place where your kids can expend some energy and you need to fuel up too! What a perfect place to do it!
