Fly United often? Sick of the boarding process where if you don’t have some precious medal status, you’re stuck in the cattle call? Then here’s some good news for you.

United announced yesterday the ability to go truly paper-less and do everything from your smartphone/web-enabled device.

After checking-in on-line you can get a boarding pass sent to you digitally, so now you really don’t need any paper. The digital boarding pass is scanned at the security checkpoint and during the boarding process, so you don’t have to scramble around looking for a printer for your boarding pass.

I guess it’s a good thing, but keep in mind it’s only available at certain airports.
