I’ve got a bit more experience than the other guys and gals when it comes to pranks and life in general. I’ve done a few great ones, from sugar in the gas tank, banana in the gas pipe, soaping up someone’s car windows, and whole bunch of other stuff.

All of my April Fools moments are old-school though. The best one I’ve ever played is on a friend of mine during high school. This is going back a few years, but it’s still good.

A lot of us guys drove stick back in the day. My crew thought it was the man-ly way to drive. Besides, even back then, not a lot of people knew how to drive stick (way back in the 80’s!!! Shocking, I know). So during my senior year on a nice warm April Fools Day, we took one of our friend’s cars. We jimmyed the lock on his doors (no alarms back then) with a bent coat-hanger and popped the car into neutral. From there, it only took 3 of us, we pushed his car way, way out from the parking lot (onto the track field) and left it there.

After school, poor Tyler looked for his car for about 45 minutes before we told him it was probably stolen. He went back to school and was just about to call the cops when some staff lady alerted Tyler to a car being on the track field.

Best prank in my book, but Ty got us all back when he broke into our cars, popped the hood and ripped out the spark plugs.

To me, I think Ty got the better of us all, but it’s still funny thinking about it.
