Xbox 360 got the slim treatment, unfortunately, it still needs to lose more weight. From our looks, the slim treatment wasn’t the same as the PS3 process. PS3 Slim and even PS2 Slim got severe weight reductions.

If Sony put their machines on a combination of Lapband, Alli, and Jillian Michaels; Microsoft put Xbox 360 through basic fat camp. It looks like Xbox 360 lost maybe a half an inch or less. The new case does look super slick and smooth to the touch.

The edges are slightly less rounded than the current Xbox 360 and overall the black lacquered look is a shout out to the original Xbox while flashing current/next gen look. It looks downright futuristic. With the funky green lighting, we thought that it would be totally at home in the Matrix.

We do like it, but we were looking for a more slimming treatment.
