Dead Rising from Capcom was so well received that it was just a matter time before a sequel came out. Dead Rising 2 makes an appearance for PS3 and Xbox 360, probably in time for Halloween (why not?!) with the game not losing any of the formula from the original.

Controls have rarely been an issue for Capcom game and Dead Rising 2 is no exception. Silky smooth controls that respond dead on when you grab a chair to bash in a zombies head.

The stars of the game though have a lot more attack abilities than before. I swear I saw some of them dodging when I tried to chainsaw ‘em. The zombie horde have sport more unique animations and somehow Capcom shoved more of ‘em in the game. The swarm builds faster and action is much more fun.

There’s a bit more strategy here too. Charge straight ahead and try to take on the zombies head on, and you’ll quickly find yourself surrounded as zombies come for your fresh, soft, perfectly aged sack of protein call your brain.

If you enjoyed the first one, I can’t see how you won’t buy this one. Besides, as Capcom kept reminding us, don’t let this happen to you. Buy Dead Rising 2.
