Calling Wii VC “ignored” is nothing more than a severe understatement. Red-headed step children get more attention than Wii’s once touted feature. Heck, even your neighborhood whipping boy is more noticed.

It’s gotten to a point where besides the back catalog, at some point, you’d think Nintendo would stop mentioning the service.

Oh wait…they pretty much have.

This week, we finally see something and the singular title is a once PAL only release, meaning North America didn’t see this one at all. I guess digging up an old “classic” that no-one on this side of the Atlantic (or Pacific) has ever seen is worthy and commendable.

Ufouria has it’s moments and it’s got a lot of fun platform elements that scream Super Mario rip off. It’s mostly side scrolling, but there are elements of the other two directions (up/down) throw in for good measure.

Catchy tunes round out the rest of this title. If you’re on a budget it’s hard to say no to a mere 600 Wii points, but then given the between this title or SMB 2 or 3, I’d have to go either of the SMB titles.
