CostCo has always been one of my favorite, guilty pleasure of a lunch secret for a long time. It's just weird to have a cheap, filling, tastey lunch in a mega-lo mart, which is strangely packed during lunch. There's no way around it. When food (halfway decent and borderline good) is gotten at a bargain cheap price, it's bound to win you over. Especially when you're hungry and have $5 in..... [ read more ]

Calling Wii VC "ignored" is nothing more than a severe understatement. Red-headed step children get more attention than Wii's once touted feature. Heck, even your neighborhood whipping boy is more noticed. It's gotten to a point where besides the back catalog, at some point, you'd think Nintendo would stop mentioning the service. Oh wait...they pretty much have. This week, we finally see..... [ read more ]

You're dying to know. Does iRenew, CPrime, and similarly advertised bracelets work? We got a lot of views of my initial posting, so much so that we decided to try it out, with a twist. A few things you should know before I get into. First, I didn't pay for the iRenew bacelets, nor did I get one for free from the company for review. Instead, I'm lucky enough to have a brother that jumped..... [ read more ]

Rugged cameras used to be big, bulky and usually built to look like if a Hummer and a pocket-point-n-shoot cam had off-spring. Scary, but true. They all did the job, but were usually 40%-50% thicker and bulkier than a point-n-shoot of the same caliber. They all cost more too. Sure you could sometimes get a plastic enclosure for your pocket shooter. They..... [ read more ]

I won't spoil anything about StarCraft II for you. Nothing about the story or the campaign mode or about how Blizzard is going to make you buy a whole more StarCraft II expansion packs in the near future. Nope. None of that kind of stuff. This is just a straight forward, nothin' fancy review. You should know, I'm a StarCraft guy. I never got into..... [ read more ]

(There are no spoilers in this post) Deadliest Catch on The Discovery Channel is one of my favorite shows. There's just something about watching crab being caught. It's strange as I normally hate reality TV like split-pea soup. What?! Have you ever had split-pea soup??!! Deadliest Catch is by far, the best reality style show out (outside of the food..... I think it's an inevitability. Unless something goes completely wrong, I think Sara's going to have to deal with her fear of clowns yet again as Aero The Acrobat had a sequel. And I liked it wayyy more than the first one. There's a lot to like and control issues from the last game are mostly gone and Aero controls as fluid as an Acrobat..... [ read more ]

I think it's been almost a month since we've gotten anything on Wii VC. Finally, there's something today and unfortunately, it really wasn't worth the wait. Wii's VC has gotten no love lately. Instead, Nintendo's releases are more focused on WiiWare and DSiWare games. We're lucky to get one title, so I guess I should be happy. It's just too bad that..... [ read more ]
