(There are no spoilers in this post) Deadliest Catch on The Discovery Channel is one of my favorite shows. There's just something about watching crab being caught. It's strange as I normally hate reality TV like split-pea soup. What?! Have you ever had split-pea soup??!! Deadliest Catch is by far, the best reality style show out (outside of the food..... I think it's an inevitability. Unless something goes completely wrong, I think Sara's going to have to deal with her fear of clowns yet again as Aero The Acrobat had a sequel. And I liked it wayyy more than the first one. There's a lot to like and control issues from the last game are mostly gone and Aero controls as fluid as an Acrobat..... [ read more ]

I think it's been almost a month since we've gotten anything on Wii VC. Finally, there's something today and unfortunately, it really wasn't worth the wait. Wii's VC has gotten no love lately. Instead, Nintendo's releases are more focused on WiiWare and DSiWare games. We're lucky to get one title, so I guess I should be happy. It's just too bad that..... [ read more ]

Call me a dork, but nobody really looks at landline phones anymore. What's fancy about them and who cares?! Not a lot of folks these days. Everything's mobile, small, "smart" and sexy looking. Besides, today's cordless models are so cheap that the rechargeable pack costs more than the phone. So, when one does die, you just pick-up a new phone. You can do what most folks do, let the bottom..... [ read more ]

A few titles during E3 always stick in your mind and you hunger for the release date like it was some super tastey pizza. You crave to play the game again and eager for a fix like some hooked addict. It's that instant when you see the game in action and play it for a few seconds that you know, this is a freakin' awesome game. You know the feeling. ..... [ read more ]

You might recall wearable gaming accessories a-la NES Powerglove. There were even virtual fighting rings where you stepped in and jump and kick your way through a game. For the most part, they all sort of fell flat. Powerglove was cool ("it's so bad, it's cool"?) and worked with a few games, but overall the controller added more complexity to a game that..... Mord, you're a pig. We all know what you did during E3, so here's my little payback. Lucha Libre AAA: Heroes del Ring as written by a girl. Honestly, I know nothing about Mexico's own WWE type wrestling called Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA for short). Being a Cali-girl, I've seen a few matches here and there on Spanish TV once in a while...... [ read more ]

So, which one did I decide to buy? You're dying to know. After shopping and touching and feeling everything I decided on Microsoft's Wireless Laser Desktop 6000 as being the best option for me. It's not the top of the line "pro" series or fancy bluetooth or anything like that. It's a simple keyboard and mouse combo set with a wireless USB dongle (not..... [ read more ]
