That was a note I got this morning from a fan. We’re not ignoring the 3D TV’s (with and without glasses) that were shown at CES last week. We’re working on a few postings actually that should basically take a full day’s update worth of content.
There were tons of 3D with the trend [...]

Remember the 3D invasion from CES 2010? There’s been a steady stream of 3D “stuff” vying for your home entertainment dollar. Fujifilm kicked off it’s glasses-less 3D products with FujiFine Pix 3D W1 and all the related products (picture frames, printed photos and everything else in between)…all without the need of glasses.
Nintendo’s soon [...]

We’re still supremely skeptical about 3D TV’s considering the sheer lack of content. 3D blu-ray discs are coming, but slowly trickling out. You’ll find a few 3D channels here and there, but not a whole lot. You’d have to go to DirecTV to find the few channels. Although, if you’re on [...]

If you frequently check in with Tech Bucket Blog, then you probably know by now that we’re sort of, kind of skeptical on the whole 3D at home craze.
If you don’t, what’s wrong with you?? You should check in with us every hour because you know, we’re shameless in our quest for page-views. [...]

Like it or not, the 3D invasion is still comin’. Content is totally limited and gear can be prohibitively expensive, like with any tech that’s “new” and “fresh” (which 3D, by far, isn’t either).
You’ve got 3D TV’s a plenty and Fuji’s got the still camera out already. No doubt, other folks will soon [...]

At CES back in January, we were sort of surprised by the deluge of 3D. You couldn’t go take a dump at the show without someone throwing something 3D related in your face.
Gimmick? Yeah, we still sort of think it’s just a ploy to charge consumers more. Cool? Totally. But [...]

We can’t wait for E3 next week. It looks like everyone in attendance will be getting a look at Nintendo’s 3DS next week (still scheduled for release sometime in March/April 2011).
Reports are leaking out that certain execs have seen it and it’s cool. Yeah, I know, we called “pork rinds” on a few [...]

Yesterday came news of Nintendo’s 3DS, a 3D portable game console that will display 3D images without the use of glasses on a similar formfactor as Nintendo’s DSi XL. Two screens, touch, camera, etc that can play all DSiWare and DS games available today as well as 3D.
We speculated that the screen will probably [...]
