If you write things down(and you should) then you need AwesomeNote. AwesomeNote has replaced notepad as my goto note app. I got it was because it allows creation of folders where I can organize and group my notes. It's also a multi-purpose app. AwesomeNote supports creating lists where I can check off items, like a to-do list, but it can be used as just a standard notepad.

It's a simple media player with access to almost all CBS programming. You'll find shows and clips from Smallville all the up to NCIS. But we love this app for another reason. Not for the new shows, but the classic shows that they have...oh like MacGyver.

Who doesn't like a solid puzzle game? It's the perfect style of game for a mobile device like Android as most of these games are simple pick-up and play games. So Android also has it's own version of Path Of A Warrior by Gamevil. This game is available on iPhone as well. Gamevil has been one our favorite devs on Android as their games (okay, even though they're ports sometimes) show equal parts quality and polish.

Raging Thunder Lite from Polarbit is a great example of excellent controls and some quality graphics and sounds on Android. Something other developers can look to and say "hey! I should do that". (Yeah, not all do, though!)
