Bluetooth is fighting back. Ultra Wideband has gotten a lot of attention lately with Wireless USB and increasing adopters on the market. Bluetooth has increasingly been relegated to short-distance, low data connections, like headsets and the like. The little “blue” protocol isn’t done yet though.
Specs for Bluetooth 4.0 are finally getting standardized [...]

As a follow-up to our review of i.Tech Dynamic’s stellar bluetooth headset from last week, we decided to look at their eco-friendly, SolarVoice 908.
Our findings? It’s a straight forward bluetooth headset with a solar powered twist. A tiny, plug in ear bluetooth headset with noise reduction (not noise canceling) technology. Nothing really [...]

We got a look at i.Tech Dynamic’s product line at CES this year and we walked away pretty impressed. Price points were just a little bit under higher end product like those Plantronics and performance was comparable if not just slightly under.
Don’t let the name confuse you, though. There are tons of ITECH’s [...]

We first reported on IOGEAR’s green, solar bluetooth speakerphone at CES this year. The concept was so simple yet elegantly executed, that we were pretty eager to get our hands on a shipping unit.
Really. There hasn’t been a lot of buzz for bluetooth gear. It’s pretty typical, but a solar power handsfree [...]

I along with the other Editors at Tech Bucket Blog use a Plantronics Discovery 655 headset. It’s old, but it’s small, recharges from a AAA battery and it was free. Tech Bucket Blog bought one of these for everyone here to use with their phones so we can always be connected while driving [...]

So we were on Brando’s site last night…so what? As much as folks (us included) like to poke fun at them, they’ve carved a pretty nice business out for themselves. If nothing else, we’re just jealous we didn’t think of these ideas.
We spied a little steering wheel attachment ($45) with bluetooth. It’s [...]

Don’t be surprised if you’ve never heard of ITECH before. They’re not a new company though, but they are just making their initial in-roads into the US market. Typically, they have focused on Asian and European markets, but they’re coming to America as of CES 2010.
I’m pretty happy to see them as they’ve [...]

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, Tech Bucket Blog absolutely enjoyed out time at Pepcom’s Digital Experience. So much so, that we’re still writing articles from the event.
Our appreciation of the event is only equaled by our enjoyment of Plantronics headsets. Tech Bucket Blog absolutely prefers Plantronics, let’s just make [...]
