Here we go. E-book reader wars are in full swing. Amazon's gone and fired off the first few salvos and trying to up stakes a little more with a cheaper Kindle ($139 WiFi only and $189 with 3G). Both models are reported to have a higher contrast ratio than the previous models, use less power, pack more memory, all while being slightly smaller and lighter.

I'm learning to "like" e-books. Really. Every time I get to play with one, I start to enjoy it a little bit more. It's growing on me. Slowly, but surely.

Besides having perhaps one of the coolest TVs at CES this year, Samsung also put their hat into the e-book reader ring.
Screen Quality
Pictures really don't do e-Ink screens any justice and Samsung's case is no different. The touchscreen has really good viewing quality..... [ read more ]
