I think it's an inevitability. Unless something goes completely wrong, I think Sara's going to have to deal with her fear of clowns yet again as Aero The Acrobat had a sequel. And I liked it wayyy more than the first one. There's a lot to like and control issues from the last game are mostly gone and Aero controls as fluid as an Acrobat..... [ read more ]

I think it's been almost a month since we've gotten anything on Wii VC. Finally, there's something today and unfortunately, it really wasn't worth the wait. Wii's VC has gotten no love lately. Instead, Nintendo's releases are more focused on WiiWare and DSiWare games. We're lucky to get one title, so I guess I should be happy. It's just too bad that..... [ read more ]

It's been a while since I picked up Ace Combat 5 on PS2. A long, long while. So long, that I completely and utterly suck at it. It took me a few go rounds of getting blasted out of the sky and I was going through missiles like salt water taffy. Who doesn't love salt water taffy? Not only is the campaign mode (the regular game mode) fun, but there's..... [ read more ]

So Kinect's pricing is finally official. After all the unintentional leaks and early postings on e-tailer sites, Kinect is now offically priced at $149.99. In case you haven't been following, the "controller" is essentially a super-amped up PS2 Eye-Toy like camera (maybe slightly better than PS3's Eye-Toy 2, but not much) with prettier graphics. Throw in there a small a visual field "sensor"..... [ read more ]

Summer is officially in full swing. East Coast temps are hitting 90-100's and we're getting baked out on the California Coast too! Weather is awesome and tons of stuff to do outside. Sara's taken up jogging and sporting a George Hamilton tan, while I've gone to doin' a little off-trail blading. Joanne's picked up mountain biking and rumor has it our other editors are attempting..... [ read more ]

A few titles during E3 always stick in your mind and you hunger for the release date like it was some super tastey pizza. You crave to play the game again and eager for a fix like some hooked addict. It's that instant when you see the game in action and play it for a few seconds that you know, this is a freakin' awesome game. You know the feeling. ..... [ read more ]

Mord, you're a pig. We all know what you did during E3, so here's my little payback. Lucha Libre AAA: Heroes del Ring as written by a girl. Honestly, I know nothing about Mexico's own WWE type wrestling called Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA for short). Being a Cali-girl, I've seen a few matches here and there on Spanish TV once in a while...... [ read more ]

Rifts

Okay, I admit, in my Rift posting there were a bit too many shots of booth and maybe not enough of the game. Many of you, including our own Editors (Sara in particular) pointed it out and reiterate what a pig I am. And yes, I am a pig and I enjoy looking. What? You wanna fight about it? I'm not unresponsive to requests, so here they are. An actual..... [ read more ]
