Did I mention we love the iLounge area at CES? It's a single place where we can rove around, look and compare all the iPod/iPad/iPhone/iWhatever accessory and gear available. And I mean EVERYTHING. There's rarely a thing missing and anyone who's making anything is here (except for Apple, but who cares about those sissys anyways?) So dig this. On the..... [ read more ]

Wait 'til you get a look at FreeOneHand's iPad Holder. It's a grip and stand all in one. Made of flexible, grippy, rubbery material, FreeOneHand's iPad Holder grips your iPad snugly and fittingly. The key feature here is FreeOneHand's uniquely designed grip that uses your entire hand to distribute the weight of the iPad your holding all the way up your..... [ read more ]

Before you ask the question that everyone else asks about the Etch A Sketch iPad (also available for iPhone/iPod Touch) case, I'll tell you: No. The knobs don't work and don't spin. Yes, there is an Etch A Sketch iPad/iPod Touch/iPhone app that you can download. Yes, the app is free (with coupon code) when you purchase a case. Yes, we were all bummed..... [ read more ]

I kinda do like Gumdrop cases for iPhone/iPod Touch and iPad. They're siliconey-rubbery, and slap on pretty tight. The cases' single purpose is to offer some protection from scratches and drops. Gumdrop cases are bubbly and, appropriately, come in bubble gum bright colors. Textured to match the "lifestyle" of each target market: surfers, boarders,..... [ read more ]

All caps aside, we have a little place in our hearts for TUNEWEAR gear. Simple, easy to use, but sexy cool gear for iPod/iPhone/iPad/iWhatever Apple comes up with. Take a trek on a Tokyo subway and you're bound to run into more than a few folks sportin' something TUNEWEAR someplace. Either in their ear, on their hip, or fashionably dangling off of some..... We finally got a few iPads and promptly gave them away. Our team, purely for karma, "donated" them to our Beijing based web-team. The line to get one in Beijing is long. There's an industry of "iPad" buyers who charge you a cool USD $1,000 to wait in line and get one for you. Some prices are reported as high as $,1500 USD. You can get on in certain stores for around $700-$800. For the..... [ read more ]

Like death and taxes, Apple is going to update the iPad soon. When and how, nobody really knows. Sure, there are few "in-the-know" analysts and experts who claim every date from January 2011-September 2011 as a release date. Casting a net that wide just seems like a fools bet on a roulette table to me. Oh...and these are the same analysts who reported..... [ read more ]

You knew it was going to happen. Forget about e-book readers for a second. As iPad grows in popularity, it's just impossible to imagine every other tech company in the world NOT coming out with a similarly designed netbook-tweener-smartphone type device. The Pads, they are a comin'... HP has got their's. The Asian vendors? The KIRF's are already out on the streets on Hong Kong, so you..... [ read more ]
