Okay, are you buckled in? We are. The roller-coaster started last week and we're getting into the final stretch of the ride. The next few days will be crazy. The rumors are all out there, but now it's time for pundits and critics to weigh in on everything Apple and offer their opinions and views.

I gotta tell you folks, even though we've been reporting about Apple for the last almost 10 days, you probably can tell we've been a little cynical, a little bit excited, and a little bit tired of the rumor mill and the media coverage in full swing.
It more than reminded me of the nauseating amount of hype that 3D at CES got this year.

What's in a name? For Apple, everything. With the launch of their much ballyhooed Mac tablet imminent, Apple is still maneuvering to get the name.
A great story posted on PC World, by Nick Spence MacWorld U.K., tells us that Fujitsu currently owns the name iPad. Or at least they're trying to hold onto it. There's some legal wrangling going on here..... [ read more ] Jan 21
We couldn't help ourselves but dig up this old story. If you don't know, Apple's been hemming and hawing on the tablet for a while now. Primarily because of an order from Steve Jobs that stated that tablets were good for surfing in the bathroom.

Okay..really now? This is it. No more iTablet rumors after this.
But we had to report this one. It looks like certain Apple accessory makers are gearing up for iSlate/iTablet. Some are announcing support for the yet to be announced device...today. By inference, they're basically confirming the launch next week.
