So Kinect's pricing is finally official. After all the unintentional leaks and early postings on e-tailer sites, Kinect is now offically priced at $149.99.

Microsoft's camera based controller system previously called Project Natal, is now called Kinect. A play on kinetic, as in motion, to drive home the point that it's a true motion controller system.

Xbox 360 got the slim treatment, unfortunately, it still needs to lose more weight. From our looks, the slim treatment wasn't the same as the PS3 process. PS3 Slim and even PS2 Slim got severe weight reductions.

Project Natal is now released as Xbox 360's Kinect. If you don't know Natal, Kinect is basically using a plugged in camera and your body movements to control on-screen, in-game movement. The idea is similar to a super-charged PlayStation Eye Toy, but only really better and really more responsive.
