New iPods are scheduled to be announced by Apple today and we decided to pool together for one big gigantic rumor round-up.
As usual, some of these Apple related rumors are far flung, friggin' crazy larks of wishful geeky imagination. Others are much more realistic. Still, it's tons of fun gathering the obscure to the well publicized rumors.

Surprise! New iPod Touches are just around the weekend. News breaking that Apple's scheduled to release these next week.
I was excited as my iPod Touch is way overdue for an upgrade, but everyone else around here let out a simultaneous "meh" at the news.

Hardware makers know this. If you let someone borrow a prototype unit, it'll get outed for sure. Units get left behind (stolen? I'll leave it alone), lost (stolen?), or just plain spotted by eagle eyed bloggers and media types everywhere.

iPhone rumors broke loose yesterday like a competitive eater at Vegas buffet. Craziness doesn't even begin to describe the unbridled fury and pace with the rumors spread.
The short of it? Apple's ordering up CDMA chips from Qualcomm for Verizon's own iPhone and production is ramping right now. Adding to the fire is even a scheduled release date: January 2011, which is a mere few months..... [ read more ] Jul 23
I'm going to add to the rampant speculation for an iPhone 4 hardware fix to the antenna. It's not just me though. Apple's news that iPhone 4 White shipments have been delayed (again) along with a hard stop to the rubber bumper and case give-away program on September 30th, has led most spectators to guess that a hardware fix is in the works.
