There are few shows that I don't like to admit that I watched and enjoyed as a kid. One of them, is Captain Planet. It's a little creation by Ted Turner for the then new cable channel called TBS. Even before TBS came to your town, the merchandising began in earnest. Action figures, lunch boxes, you name it, and Captain Planet and the gang were on it.
