Lines at CES 2011 were everywhere this year. Experts call this a good sign for Las Vegas, the economy and the industry. It means things are turning around. More people traveling means more people working sooner or later (maybe sooner) and a turn-around the “Great Recession”.
Me? I don’t like lines. [...]

Maybe it’s a German thing. Or maybe I have no sense of style what-so-ever. But take a big booth. Make it all squarish, white, plastic-y-smooth on the inside and light it up like a giant light-box in all consuming white and you end up with a gigantic flourescent-walk-in lightbulb….
…Or…Audi’s booth at CES.

I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t do my usual tradeshow ladies of the booth browsing. And miss the opportunity for Sara to call me a “pig”?
Of course, I wouldn’t!!!
The ladies at Sprint were spectacularly nice to me and were the most pleasant wake-me-up during the morning walk from monorail to LVCC. Thank [...]

Just interesting to me. I spotted these guys enjoying their “smoke” just outside of the Central Hall at LVCC.
Those must be some special cigarettes or cigars. Everyone around suddenly got some serious munchies everytime the wind blew a certain direction.
Yeah…cigarettes do that you know…not that I know ANYTHING about that.
At least the BBQ/Grille [...]

Vegas is cold this week. From the gambling (my rotten crappy luck) and the temps outside. Brrrr!!!
I can’t wait for CES to start. At least something to pull me away from the tables! It’s looking awesome this year. Companies look like they’re shelling out a little bit more than last [...]

It’s not often we break up the team. This time, we had to. Some of our guys were dying to see the CES keynote and kick-off CES the old fashioned way.
Me? There’s no better way to get ready for CES than going to Pepcom’s Digital Experience. A bunch (and looks like more [...]

It’s been a crazy month or so for us. From our travels to Beijing and our long Holiday breaks, we’ve all spent way too much time jetting around the world.
But, when CES calls, we answer.
A lighter team this year as only Mord and I are on the ground, but we have a plan. [...]
