Dead Rising from Capcom was so well received that it was just a matter time before a sequel came out. Dead Rising 2 makes an appearance for PS3 and Xbox 360, probably in time for Halloween (why not?!) with the game not losing any of the formula from the original. Konami knows. Right now, the collective we have a deep passion for vampires and werewolves. What a perfect time to throw them together in one of Konami's flagship franchises, Castlevania, as the perfect vehicle. Microsoft's camera based controller system previously called Project Natal, is now called Kinect. A play on kinetic, as in motion, to drive home the point that it's a true motion controller system. We went "body-on" with it and walked away feeling somewhat divided about it and more than a little sweaty. Overall, we all felt that the experience was fun..... [ read more ]

Xbox 360 got the slim treatment, unfortunately, it still needs to lose more weight. From our looks, the slim treatment wasn't the same as the PS3 process. PS3 Slim and even PS2 Slim got severe weight reductions. If Sony put their machines on a combination of Lapband, Alli, and Jillian Michaels; Microsoft put Xbox 360 through basic fat camp. Okay, it's just a rumor and until there's footage of some guy picking it up in the Philippines in some open air tech market (a-la PS3 slim rumors), we're not going to say this one is dead on.
